Twalamander has lived his entire life in a quiet forest inside a storybook. Although he loved his forest filled with ferns and mushrooms, he was curious about what was beyond the pages of his book.

One night, when the book was left open, Twalamander gathered up his courage and crept silently to the edge of the page and slipped into Kit's world. While Kit and his family lie sleeping, Twalamander sets off on a journey to explore the world outside his book.

When seen through the eyes of this adorable storybook character, everyday objects take on a life of their own.

It honors imagination, creativity, and a sense of humor as it follows Twalamander through a series of misinterpretations of the world around him. His humorous mishaps support perspective-taking, cause & effect, and seeing things from another point of view. But most of all, it supports playfulness and the joy of reading.
