 Something Else

Skylar's Story of Becoming

A quiet story with a powerful emotional truth — perfect for classrooms, counseling spaces, and bedtime stories.
Picture
Ages 4 - 8
Skylar knew she was more than a fuzzy little caterpillar and must be something else. But what could she be? She tried to be like others. Nothing worked out quite right.  But she didn’t give up.  She kept searching and trying. Then one day, something inside her began to change.

Children often compare themselves to others before they understand their own strengths. Skylar’s story helps them recognize their gifts, embrace their differences, and discover the joy of being themselves.
